Urolog: Bladder Insight Privacy Policy

Last updated: 07/05/2026

Overview

Urolog: Bladder Insight (the “App”) helps you track and reflect on personal information related to your wellbeing on iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is shared, and the choices you have. By using Urolog: Bladder Insight, you agree to the practices described here.

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Who we are

Information we collect

We aim to collect the minimum information necessary to provide the App.

  1. Information you add to the App
    • Notes, entries, tags, timestamps, and any other content you choose to record.
    • App settings and preferences.
  2. Device and usage data
    • Basic diagnostics and app analytics such as app version, device model, iOS version, and interactions within the App to help us improve stability and features.
    • We do not collect precise location unless you explicitly provide it within an entry.
  3. Customer support
    • Information you include when contacting us (such as email and message content).
  4. Apple services and third parties
    • Apple App Store transaction metadata (managed by Apple) may be processed for purchases, subscriptions, and refunds. We do not receive your full payment details.
    • If you opt in to share crash reports or analytics with developers via Apple settings, Apple may provide aggregated diagnostics to us.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sensitive information

Depending on how you use the App, your entries may include health-related or other sensitive information. Such information stays on your device unless you enable backup or synchronization features described below. We do not use sensitive information for advertising or marketing.

Optional integrations

  • Apple iCloud backup/sync: If the App offers iCloud syncing or backup and you enable it, your data will be stored in your iCloud account under Apple’s terms and security. You can disable sync at any time in settings. Data remains associated with your Apple ID.
  • Apple Health (HealthKit): If the App offers HealthKit integration and you grant permission, the App will access or write only the data types you authorize. Health data from HealthKit is not used for marketing, tracking, or advertising and is not shared with third parties except to provide the feature you requested. You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.

Note: If a feature is not present in your version of the App, this section does not apply.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
  • Personalize the App experience and remember your settings.
  • Monitor and fix performance, bugs, and security issues.
  • Communicate with you about updates, changes, and support.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we process your personal data on these bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide the App and requested features.
  • Legitimate interests: to maintain and improve the App, prevent abuse, and ensure security. We balance these interests against your rights.
  • Consent: for optional features that require your permission (for example, Health data access). You can withdraw consent at any time in iOS settings or within the App, where available.
  • Legal obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with laws.

How we share information

We limit sharing to what is necessary to operate the App:

  • Service providers: We may share limited data with vendors that host infrastructure, analytics, or customer support tools, under contracts that require them to protect your information and only use it to provide services to us.
  • Apple: App distribution, payments, and optional diagnostics are handled under Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
  • Legal and safety: We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users and others.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not share HealthKit data with third parties for advertising or marketing and we do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete entries in the App at any time. If you uninstall the App, data stored only on your device will be removed from that device. Data stored in iCloud remains in your iCloud account until you delete it or disable iCloud for the App.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including to:

  • Access a copy of your data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete data or request erasure.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Data portability.

To exercise these rights, contact us at manager@echelon-app.com. We may ask you to verify your identity. You also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.

California residents: The App does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You can request access or deletion by contacting us.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

If information is processed outside your country, we implement safeguards appropriate to the destination and applicable law. For EEA/UK users, where applicable, we rely on mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
